About

Micaëla is a queer speculative fiction and fantasy writer living in Victoria, BC. She studied art history and writing at UVic, where she graduated with a BFA. Originally from the prairies, Micaëla is inspired by the north and all it has to offer. They also draw from myth, legend, history, and her own imagination.

Being a writer has been her dream since she was a child. Micaëla is currently working on several long-form projects, most notably a fantasy pirate adventure novel and an occult fantasy novel. They’re very excited to be doing freelance writing for both Factinate and None More Dark Publishing.
